I-Tip Hair Extensions – Keratin Tip

I-Tip Extensions are installed strand by strand through a micro bead. Unlike fusion hair extensions, this application does not include glue or heat and is the perfect application for those who want to add volume, length and even color without the damage of an adhesive. Here at Sache Beauty Studio LLC we use silicon lined beads to protect the hair from the metal. The process varies in time depending on the number of strands installed and can take between 2-5 hours. This method of hair extensions requires maintenance every 4 weeks and can be kept for as long as 4 months depending on the quality of hair installed.

Malaysian Braidless

Sew In

Malaysian Braidless Sew In is done by using micro beads as the base for every row in place of traditional braids. The hair weft is then sewn onto the beaded row foundation. It is great for clients with sensitive scalp or other scalp issues as this process does not add any tension and allows you to maintain your hair and scalp regularly since all of your natural hair is blended with the extensions. This method is good to add color without having to process your own hair and is also for those with fine or silky hair textures. This method of hair extensions requires maintenance every 4 weeks and can be kept for as long as 4 months depending on the quality of hair installed.

Full Sew In with or without Closure

A Traditional sew-in weave is a technique used to add hair extensions onto a ones head to create fuller longer hair.  This is achieved by braiding the natural hair into a cornrow pattern and using a needle to sew a weft/track of hair extensions onto the conrows.  Sew-in weaves can be extremely versatile depending on the hair type and pattern of the cornrows. Hair can be cut, curled, and colored as if it were one’s natural hair.  All the client’s hair is braided depending on whether you are installing a full sewing with or without a closure, or Frontal.  This method of hair extensions requires maintenance every 4 weeks and can be kept for as long as 3 months depending on the quality of hair installed.

Frontal Sew In

Frontal Sew Ins basically follow the same rules and techniques as a full sewing, however the hairline of the frontal is sometimes glued and always customized to mimic the client’s natural hairline.  This method of hair extensions requires maintenance every 2-3 weeks and can be kept for as long as 2 months depending on the quality of hair installed.  Frontal installs typically take more time to maintain because over time the frontal piece will lift from the hairline, requiring it to be glued again and again.   We usually do not recommend this type of install for clients who sweat a lot as the moisture will lift the frontal.

Partial/Versatile

A partial/versatile sew in is a braided sew in weave that covers majority of the clients head leaving out part of the crown and hairline. Typically to achieve the most flawless partial/ versatile sew in the client’s hair should be at least 6 inches or longer. Partial/versatile Sew-in weaves can also be pulled up in a bun or ponytail, provided the cornrows are patterned properly where they cannot be seen. This method of hair extensions requires maintenance every 4 weeks and can be kept for as long as 3 months depending on the quality of hair installed.
